Flexible brake lining

General

This is a high performance Asbestos Free flexible moulded friction material that has random distribution on finely divided metallic particles. It has a coefficient of friction combined with good mechanical properties and temperature/ wear resistance. It is known for its excellent heat dissipation and pressure/speed insensitivity. It is also particularly suitable for bonding purposes.

Applications

This is recommended for use in medium to heavy-duty brakes of passenger cars & light commercial vehicles. It is also used for all industrial and off highway brake applications.

Bonding

Flexible roll linings have good compatibility with all thermosetting adhesives for bonding purposes. It is supplied as ground on both sides and may be bonded on either side as required. RECOMMENDED MATING SURFACE For best performance you should use good quality, fine grained paralytic cast iron of forget/cold rolled steel as mating surface with a brinell hardness of 220-300
